Indoor Purification

Commercial Air Quality Systems and Services

Indoor pollutants (such as cleaning chemicals, excess moisture, tobacco products, and fuel-burning equipment), can cause health issues for the people who are regularly exposed to them. It is important to have a proper indoor commercial air purification system to make sure that the air your staff and customers breathe is safe.

You should only trust a professional commercial air purification service provider like Design Mechanical, Inc. to install your commercial HVAC air purification system. We use continuous ambient air quality monitoring systems with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to remove unhealthy particles and microbes from your office’s air.

Dear Valued Customer,

In consideration of the continued spread of COVID-19, Design Mechanical, Inc. (DMI) would like to outline our procedures to reassure our customers that we are doing all we can. DMI has put into place new policies and procedures with regards to our overall interaction with customers, partners, vendors, and employees. We wanted to connect directly with you to share the steps we are taking to keep you safe while continuing to serve your business needs.

To inhibit the spread of the virus, we have canceled travel for all our employees for business purposes. We have also asked our employees to report any level of exposure to this virus within the past two months.

We have also instituted additional safety measures to include enhanced cleaning procedures, hygiene awareness, as well as constant communication to all DMI employees on hand washing and other preventive measures. We have implemented self-reporting protocols as well as a quarantine requirement for anyone that is symptomatic. We have requested employees inform Design Mechanical of any recent or planned air travel, cruise ship, or other forms of mass transit.

In addition, we’ve limited the number of person-to-person business meetings by requesting these be reduced as much as possible, thereby decreasing the number of visitors we have in our building. Our Safety Director is a healthcare professional that is providing direction with regards to COVID-19 and is in close contact with the medical community as well as monitoring communications from the Centers of Disease Control.

We are monitoring supply chains closely as we have since tariffs were implemented, to ensure access to parts and equipment, There has been no disruption thus far.

As we continue and monitor this situation, we will take action when needed, along with continued evaluation of any policies and procedures that need to be refined and/or changed as the situation evolves.

We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in us at the forefront of everything we do. We appreciate your business and will continue to give insight regarding and efforts in containing COVID-19. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

William J. Iler
President

Indoor Air Quality Solutions

EFFECTIVE PRODUCTS TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR EMPLOYEES

We continue to be open for business as usual and provide you with the best possible customer service.

We’re here to help businesses like yours, get back to “normal” with an even better quality facility when COVID-19 is behind us!

Here are more tips and information to guide you through how to keep your facility IAQ viable:

Air Purification Systems | Indoor Purification | Design Mechanical Inc

Air Purification Systems

These systems are designed to maximize particle control by optimizing the three components that dictate air purification, which are as follows:

  • Particle coagulation
  • Optimized air change rate
  • Low static pressure drop/high-efficiency filter

They also remove hazardous airborne microbial contaminants using a unique “Circumflow” air pattern to greatly improve ‘breathing zone’ air filtration.

UV-based advanced oxidation technology installed in the HVAC ductwork to neutralize bacteria, viruses, odor, and mold.

Hepa Filters | Indoor Purification | Design Mechanical Inc

HEPA Filters

HEPA is a high-efficiency particulate air, also known as high-efficiency particulate absorbing and high-efficiency particulate arrestance air filter. Commercial air filtration systems meeting the HEPA standard must satisfy certain levels of efficiency.

  • Removes hazardous airborne microbial contaminants.
  • Scrub room air from unwanted bacteria and viruses using a portable air filtration machine using 99.8% effective HEPA filtration
Hlr Module | Indoor Purification | Design Mechanical Inc

HLR Module

The HLR (HVAC Load Reduction) module actively and automatically manages HVAC cooling and heating load and indoor air quality (IAQ). This commercial air cleaner cleans the indoor air using patented reusable sorbents, which minimizes the amount of outdoor air required to maintain IAQ thereby generating energy savings.

  • Load reduction and more energy efficient
  • Reduced capital expenditure on HVAC
  • Compliance and sustainability
  • Indoor air quality
  • Real-time monitoring, reporting, and validation
  • Scalability and flexibility

WE ALSO RECOMMEND:

  • Maximizing the outdoor air supply of HVAC system, wherever possible
  • Extending operation of the system to 24/7 to purge building air through the night

DMI is here to help!

KEEPING YOUR FACILITY IAQ VIABLE

As an essential business, we are open for business as usual and will continue to do so. However, we are making changes based on recent protocols to help businesses like yours, back on their feet, in a much quicker fashion, with an even better quality facility when COVID-19 is gone!

Enhanced HVAC system pro are coming into light amid these indoor air quality challenges we are facing today. As building owners/managers, you may feel the pressure more than ever to provide your building tenants and occupants with the best possible indoor air quality available.

Listed below are two products that may help with your indoor air quality concerns:

UVC (Ultraviolet C Wave) Systems

Very high output of UVC works to destroy the DNA and RNA of microorganisms, thereby effective against all types of viruses.

UVC energy destroys airborne viruses by eliminating surface biofilm which leads to a host of indoor air quality problems.

Dust adheres to biofilm surfaces resulting in HVAC systems working harder, thus increasing energy costs

The recirculating air in HVAC systems creates exposure of microorganisms to UVC, ensuring multiple passes so the light energy is effective against large quantities of airborne microorganisms.

Safe and ozone-free, using no chemicals.

It is 99.99% effective in killing many viruses before they reach the return air stream.

Bi-Polar Ionization

A gas-phase indoor air purification technology. It works by adding a controlled amount of both positive and negative air ions to the supply air of air handling systems.

The continuous application of ions emitted to ambient air disinfects both the breathing space and surfaces.

Removes inhalable particles and pathogens, including dust, allergens, mold, odors, viruses, and germs to create healthy environments.

The system ensures all airflow passes across its tubes to energize the air with positive and negative ions throughout all spaces served by the HVAC system.

Raising office productivity by supplying fresher air and energizing the space.

Removes up to 90% of harmful VOCs and 95% of ultra-fine particles. Als interrupting of colony-forming units in mold, bacteria, viruses, etc.

  • Provide some energy consumption savings, reduction in energy bills, and could extend the life of your HVAC system.
  • Provide monitoring and control through web-enabled software
  • Quick and easy installation, and effective on all HVAC type systems
