Kansas City Power & Light is located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to help with the design / build renovation of the Bolling Federal Building heating and air conditioning system, going from steam to chilled water. This $5 million project took over 18 months to complete and provided for continued HVAC turn-over during occupied hours. Communication and scheduling were critical during this process.

Iatan Power Plant is located in Westin, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. provides general maintenance, repairs and upgrades to their HVAC system.

Aquila is located in Raytown, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to install a new 400 ton Marley Quadraflow cooling tower. This job required perfect communication and scheduling as the building was occupied and is under heavy security conditions. This new cooling tower will provide energy savings with less water and chemical waste. DMI also provides general maintenance, repairs and upgrades to their HVAC system.

Aquila is located in Greenwood, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to upgrade their office area and control room HVAC equipment. DMI services include general maintenance, repair and upgrade to their HVAC equipment.

Aquila/South Harper is located in Peculiar, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. provides a Service Agreement for general maintenance, as well as repair and upgrade to their HVAC equipment.

Kaw Point Wastewater Treatment Plant is located in Kansas City, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to convert their direct expansion system to a chilled water system. DMI installed a 50 ton chiller with new pumping design.

Board of Public Utilities is located in Kansas City, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. provides general maintenance, repairs and upgrades to their HVAC system.
