EPA Lab is a Science and Technology Center located in Kansas City, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to demo the existing contaminated piping and install new high purity pipe, regulators, valves, panels and manifolds from these specialty gas tanks into the laboratory hoods. These gas tanks handled nitrogen, argon, helium and oxygen. DMI also provides general maintenance, repair and upgrades to their HVAC system.

Midwest Research Institute, located in Kansas City, Missouri, provides contract research services for private and government clients in areas such as national defense, health sciences, agricultural and food safety, energy and environment. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to provide new exhaust and balancing for their BSL and ABSL labs. DMI also installed a new heating system for perimeter heating. DMI services include a Service Agreement on their chillers, as well as general maintenance, repairs and upgrades.

Acceleration is a pharmaceutical laboratory located in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to provide a new exhaust lab hood system, in which we used PVC coated spiral pipe.

United BioSource is a company that performs late-stage testing of pharmaceuticals located in Kansas City, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to replace their building air conditioning units.
