EPA Administration Building is located in Kansas City, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to install a recycling system where condensation from the air handling units would be used for the cooling tower make-up water. DMI also provides general maintenance, repair and upgrades to their HVAC and computer room air conditioning systems.
EPA Lab is the Science and Technology Center located in Kansas City, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to demo the existing contaminated piping and install new high purity piping, regulators, valves, panels and manifolds from these specialty gas tanks into the laboratory hoods. These gas tanks handled nitrogen, argon, helium and oxygen. DMI also installed a system to use their "grey" water as their cooling tower make-up water. DMI also provides general maintenance, repair and upgrades to their HVAC system.
Shawnee North Aquatic Center is a community water park located in Topeka, Kansas. Design Mechanical, Inc. was contracted to perform clean up of an acid spill in the park. DMI replaced pumps, tanks and related piping. DMI also took on the role of General Contractor and oversaw the mechanical, electrical, and contractor work to clean up the facility and get it back into operation.
FBI Building is located in Kansas City, Missouri. Design Mechanical, Inc. provides inspections through a Service Agreement on their HVAC system. DMI also provides mechanical repairs and upgrades.
