Customer Challenge
This 3-story Professional Office Building is located in Overland Park, Kansas. The existing evaporative condensers were built into the Mammoth rooftop unit and in poor shape. The budget did not allow for the replacement of the entire Mammoth unit.

Some of the challenges for this location included finding a place to set the new evaporative condensers as the only roof structure available was under the existing Mammoth unit.

DMI Solution
DMI was called to provide a cost-effective solution to their HVAC challenge. We provided two BAC 50 ton evaporative condensers to replace the existing Mammoth unit condensers that were badly rusted. We capped the ends of the unit and built a new wall on the ends of the unit to protect the equipment in the mammoth unit from weather; set and piped up the new condensers in place of the original units.

Highlights
This solution allowed the equipment in the Mammoth unit (compressors, boiler, pumps) to be salvaged and replace only the equipment that was not economical to repair.
