Experience

Bill Iler has been active in the mechanical industry since 1974. He started his career with Carrier Corporation then moved to The Fagan Company, before starting his own HVAC company, Design Mechanical, Inc. 

He spent 23 years with Fagan, first as Service Department Manager starting with 10 service technicians.  Under his direction, the service department grew to 60 service technicians, becoming the largest Service Department in Kansas City.  He then became Vice President – Sales and Marketing, creating and cultivating a sales and marketing culture within the entire Fagan group.

In September 2003, Design Mechanical started and has grown to be one of the top mechanical service companies in the industry.

Bill has served on the Mechanical Service Contractor’s Association Education Committee and Alliance of Professional Specialty Contractors Board.
